Gentle introductions to horses. Gain confidence while meeting and connecting with horses, learning safety, basic care, and clear communication through simple groundwork and beginner riding.

Our Tiny Rock Riders program introduces young children to the wonderful world of horses through fun, hands-on learning. Lessons focus on safety, care, and gentle interaction — helping kids build confidence and respect while developing balance, patience, and teamwork.

Horse Care

Learn how to brush, feed treats safely, and understand what horses need to stay happy and healthy.

Learn to help and care for a horse.

Ground Control

Discover how to lead a horse with calm confidence, stop and go, and move safely beside them. Through games and gentle exercises, they learn how horses “listen” and how to communicate using simple cues and body language.

Safety

Learn how to move safely around horses, and use your voice and body to communicate clearly. These lessons teach awareness, respect, and calm confidence.

Riding

With close guidance, riders practice mounting, holding the reins, and balancing at a walk. They learn how to steer and stop while focusing on posture, relaxation, and having fun.
